I don't want to have to get out those pictures of us around the pool table when I want to see your face. I'd rather you just hang around a whole lot longer and make it back to The Continental Club where you always make the magic happen. My mother was a 2 time survivor, so I know how difficult the fight can be. Remember that all of your legion of friends & fans will be there to fight alongside you.

I used paypal since it was easy. It's a drag that they take their cut but I figured you needed some now. I'll see what I can manage later. I've beaten a couple of the milder cancers so there is hope. I've seen you a couple of times with Dave Alvin and you were great. I've always wanted to see your band but it never worked out.

i'm here for you. i only wish i could have donated more, but i just had major spinal surgery and due to complications, i've temporarily lost most use of both arms. which means, no guitar playing/gigging. i'll donate more $ when i can. but hang in there. we love you and know you're gonna beat this thing.

Chris can expect a check from me as soon as I can get it together with a promise for a larger, future contribution later on in the year as well. How I love that man and his music!

Chris, I am so sorry to have come across this news. My prayers for you and Julie. Time to lean into Faith, Brother; this makes a Man out of all of us. It's a tribute to you that so many love you, care, and want to help. Hope to get over to Doll Hut benefit 4/27 and will spread the word. I remember fondly the great times you and Wyman and I had back in the late 70's at the end of the Pecos days. Send me a note and I'll come visit, one day.
